Elephants Fundraiser is Given The Angelic Touch

Runcorn-based Angelic Creations used its creative expertise to support fundraising efforts for Asia’s threatened elephant population. The company, which recently relocated to a new design studio at The Heath Business and Technical Park, was contacted by Chester Zoo ahead of the Elephantasia Ball, a glittering charity event taking place for 300 guests at Chester Racecourse that took place last month. Angelic, which produces handcrafted wedding stationery and accessories, provided each of the guests with a "favour" – a golden shimmer metallic box containing a chocolate gift. The boxes are were specially designed by the Angelic team to include an elephant’s outline – and with a textured card to recreate an elephant’s skin!

The Elephantasia challenge has added to a hectic period for Angelic, which is an expert in the design and production of wedding and social stationery. Originally launched five years ago as a home-based venture, the business was attracted to the "vibrant" atmosphere of The Heath – run by Runcorn-based SOG Ltd – earlier this year when it sought a location for its first design studio. Angelic produces bespoke handcrafted stationery for social and corporate functions, and sells items such as albums, stationery, greetings cards, jewellery and gift wrap.
