Hollyoaks 'Party Garden' Awarded Gold Medal at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show

Jake(Kevin Sacre) and his green fingers were present at the show to tend to the garden and make sure it was in full bloom. On screen, viewers have witnessed Jake assisted by brother Craig (Guy Burnet) entering the prestigious competition, in an attempt to prove his love for Becca, and prove to himself he has a talent that should be nurtured...

The true life outcome of the flower show will affect storylines on screen. Alternate endings were filmed dependent on the success of the garden and these winning scenes will appear in HOLLYOAKS on 5th August, Channel Four at 6.30pm. Mersey TV's Head of Design Candida Boyes was responsible for designing the garden. She said: "I am absolutely delighted to have won a gold medal at the Tatton show. The whole team put their heart and soul into the design of the garden and we really felt it encapsulated the essence of the show, as well as meeting all the criteria."
