Norwich Union World and Commonwealth Trials & AAA Championships

The Norwich Union World & Commonwealth Trials & AAA Championships will take place on the weekend of July 9 &10.

Athletes will be looking to qualify for the World Championships which will take place in Helsinki in August 2005. In addition, English athletes will be battling for a place in the English Team for the Commonwealth Games, to be held in Melbourne in March 2006.

The first two athletes in each event will be selected for the World Championships, providing they have reached the required qualifying standard.

Meanwhile the first two English athletes past the post will be on the plane to Melbourne. A third discretionary place in each event is also available, to be decided by the sele
