Setting Up Schemer’s Going to 100% Design

LMDILiverpool and Manchester Design Initiative is proud to announce that three of this year’s Setting Up Scheme intake have been accepted onto their collective stand for 100% Design. Manchester based Ben Perry,product designer, Michelle Brand, eco-designer and Peter Masters, furniture designer, scored a 100 percent rate of acceptance for the 2005-06 SUS with the LMDI awarding panel to land this excitingopportunity.

Now in its 11th year, 100%Design, the UK’s leading annual contemporary design event, is a showcase for the best in new and established design businesses and exposes them to the international design buying trade and public from 22nd – 25th September 2005, Earl’s Court, London.

"This is fantastic news for the Setting Up Scheme participants. That three of the new intake are already able to be seen on an international stage by nearly 40,000 people, speaks volumes for the designers concerned and shows that after 12 years, the SUS continues to develop dynamic and strong design businesses across the region."
